With Nintendo's E3 conference today. There was a lot of new things such as the Zelda 25th anniversary, a new system, and new games on the 3DS, Wii, and DS.
Zelda 25th anniversary:
In 1986, the original Legend of Zelda came out on the NES. The series has developed and hit the top 3 video game series [according to the Guiness Book of World Records: Gamer's Edition 2010(the first being Halo and the second being Call of Duty)] of all time.
Ocarina of Time 3DS:
To celebrate it's 25th anniversary, Nintendo is releasing Ocarina of Time for the 3DS on June 19, 2011. As you all should know, the player doesn't need any glasses to experience the 3D effect. There is also Master Quest, but the player must finish the main game before starting Master Quest.
Ocarina of Time 3DS Soundtrack:
Along with Ocarina of Time 3DS, Nintendo will also be releasing a soundtrack. If you register your Ocarina of Time 3DS game, then you'll get the soundtrack for free, but there's a limited number of soundtracks. Nintendo will release more info on this later.
Now, you can download games from Nintendo's eShop. The only Zelda game shown is Link's Awakening DX. The price is at 6 USD (United States Dollar).
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
Finally, what every Zelda fan has been waiting for. This has taken years just to work on and it's almost done. Skyward Sword is coming out in December 2011. The game uses full motion controls enabled by the Wii Motion Plus. The game has the most realistic sword combat to date. There's intense puzzles and more. This is so awesome that I can't even begin to describe it.
